Welcome to Devon Artist Anje Yelf's Website.

Anje is a British artist who resides in Devon. Living in the westcountry offers fabulous opportunities for an artist. Excellent light and an extensive variety of landscapes and seascapes. Painting subjects are mainly landscape but include seascape, botanical and still-life. Prefered painting mediums are oil paints and watercolours.

Intentions are to develop an eclectic website, which will contain something of interest for anyone.

A synopsis of the project Anje undertook to achieve a BSc Computing Degree with first-class honours.

Kitchen Renovation

A diary about Anje's edwardian town house kitchen renovation. Including several helpful tips used to help the schedule run with less stress.


Devoted to the flora and creatures that thrive throughout the seasons in the courtyard and small front garden of Anje's 1907 Edwardian Terraced property. A special page is devoted to the various garden spiders found within this garden and home; a 'what's in flower' diary;beneficial garden insects; plants that survive in the garden with slugs and snails and helpful information for planting in a courtyard garden that faces north.
